2019 album. Also available on CD.
With the return of bass man Danny McCormack, The Wildhearts release the first album with their classic line-up, since ‘P.H.U.Q.’ in 1995. Meanwhile, it’s the first album from any line-up of the band in ten years. The band have had a volatile history with plenty of band members coming and going. During the groups original run in the 1990s they were signed to Warners who issued three albums and a brace of singles. Ginger and co. managed to break out of their contract in 1996 and sign a new deal with independent Mushroom Records but after one album ‘Endless Nameless’ in 1997 they called it a day citing the usual musical differences and drug problems.
Numerous line-ups have got together since 2001 under The Wildhearts with frontman Ginger and guitarist CJ being the mainstays of the band. Now, the stars have aligned bringing the classic four piece together again. Cj from the band says: “Well fuck me it’s only been 10 years since our last release and we have a monster album on its way. Danny is back in the band and we hit the road in May, playing new tunes and all the old hits. Can’t wait and I know the boys are super bloody excited for this. ROCK!”
