Our Overview.

‘White Crow’ is the the new and fourth album from American singer-songwriter Tim Scott - aka Ledfoot, the creator of the Gothic Blues. Once again, we’re diving into this dark gothic blues world where most things go sincerely wrong, but where the music somehow sets you free.

As always with his 12 string guitar fitted with extremely heavy strings, played with a brass slide and brass pick and steel finger picks, kicking his stomp box! Sometimes it’s best to just keep it simple and state the facts... ‘There’s a black crow I follow every night With a pack of wolves a running by my side. Through a darkness as dark as any mind. With a full moon hanging dead up in the sky. There’s no undoing all that I’ve done. There’s no forgiving this wayward son."

Tim has been touring and releasing music since the late 1970’s as a solo artist and as a member of ‘The Rockats’ in the early 1980’s and ‘The Havalinas’ in the early 1990’s, at which time Bob Dylan personally asked Tim if the band would open for him on the ‘Oh Mercy’ tour of France and England.

As a songwriter, Tim has written for artists as varied as ‘ Highasakite’ and ‘TnT’ to ‘Sheena Easton’. In 2014, Bruce Springsteen released his album ‘High Hopes’, the title track written by Tim. It debuted as No.1 in over 10 countries including the U.S. and the U.K..

LEDFOOT came into existence in 2006, when Tim put together the different techniques from over 30 years of playing and combined a 12-string guitar with steel fingerpicks, a brass slide, open-tunings, very heavy strings and a stomp box. Mixing this with a dark lyrical and melodic sense, he dubbed it ‘Gothic Blues’. Since than Ledfoot has released 4 albums and has toured England, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, Holland and the U.S. “Exit” have already won the prize for Best Series in the International Panorama program at the Series Mania Festival 2019!
