First official release of his unannounced performance at Amoeba Music in Los Angeles on 27th June 2007. This contains the complete show - 9 more tracks than the newspaper edition! Also available on vinyl.
In 2007, “Macca” released his first album not on EMI, ‘Memory Almost Full’, the first shot at the company which then resulted in the struggling company losing the rights to the rest of his esteemed recorded catalogue two years later. As part of the promotion, Paul turned up at the famous Amoeba Music store in Hollywood on 27th June and performed a 20 song set to the lucky crowd. Half of the vibrant set was made up of Beatles songs whilst the rest was largely composed of songs from the new album and a handful of other solo tracks.
Four songs from the show emerged later that year on the ‘Amoeba’s Secret EP’ and was only issued the US. In 2010, a deal with the UK newspaper, The Mail On Sunday led to a 12 track selection being bundled with the publication. Since then, fans have been clamouring for the full show to be released. Finally, their dreams have come true with this album finally getting a proper release and joining his illustrious catalogue.
