Our Overview.

Early this year Frenship posted on their Facebook page “We’re putting out a damn album! it’s called ‘Vacation’ and it can officially be yours on May 17th. it’s been a long time coming but we promise it’ll be worth the wait.” And now the wait is over and the LA-based, platinum-selling duo Frenship: James Sunderland and Brett Hite have released their highly anticipated debut album and it does not disappoint, it is full of warm harmonies, propulsive melodies, spiralling synths and pristine songwriting, ‘Vacation’ is an album about searching and “….shimmering sonic beauty” as aptly described by Clash Magazine.

It was the duo’s 2016 global hit single “Capsize” (featuring Emily Warren)’ which saw their meteoric rise to fame. The track has received over half a billion streams and 25 international chart positions in countries worldwide. Touring with Bastille in 2017 in Europe (and the US) marked an important step in Frenship’s career. (It also led to the album track “Won’t Let You Go”, which features Bastille on vocals).

In 2018 Frenship played 20 sold out US headline shows. 2019 sees them embark on a 18 date US headline tour with further dates to be confirmed.
